Many Blues and Many Yellows

Josef Albers' Interaction of Color, written to help artists develop more sensitivity to color, could double as an Awareness Through Movement manual. Swap movement for color, brightness for effort, and seeing with feeling and you're feeding two birds with one grain.

As Albers said and we all know, "there are many blues and many yellows" and "that any 2 colors can produce many mixtures." The next time you're studying and changing elements of your habits, imagine that you're mixing colors.

It brings a light touch to the process and it's a good reminder that there are many possibilities rather than the old and familiar standards: right and wrong.
